A helping hand
AmcoGiffen was approached by Network Rail to see if it would be possible to “help in the community” by installing the Velux blinds in one of the local church’s at Llandrindod Wells Baptist.
Alan Jones and Leighton Winder “jumped” at the chance to “give a little bit back to the community”
The task was to erect a mobile tower (5m) in height and gain access to the Velux windows within the roof space. The church had a problem when the sun was at its height, shining directly onto the pastor and the screen they use to read from.
Leighton said later with a smile on his face, it was a humbling experience to be working within a church and to “give a little back to the community”
