AmcoGiffen does Stress Awareness Month!
Sponsored by The Health Resource Network (HRN), Stress Awareness Month is a ‘national, cooperative effort to inform people about the dangers of stress, successful coping strategies, and harmful misconceptions that are prevalent in our society.’
At AmcoGiffen, we’re firm advocates of this cause, and we recognise that amid the often hectic routines of everyday life, we can all be affected by stress and anxiety.
Striving to protect the mental health of our employees, we implement a number of initiatives that deliver both alleviation, and support – including providing colleagues with care and perceptiveness via our 5 qualified Mental Health First Aiders. Scaling up to meet the growing demands of our rapidly developing business, we have a further 10 site operatives scheduled for the same training, so they can better protect the welfare of our field workers!
Providing long-term sick monitoring and support, plenty of listening ears, and dedicated SHEQ and Occupational Health representatives, AmcoGiffen are endeavouring to help anyone struggling with stress, or mental illness.
