AmcoGiffen privileged to attend Career Fair
Our Senior Quantity Surveyor David Chan was delighted to be asked to attend and support the career fair at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys on thursday 11th July.
The fair aimed at year 10 pupils (age 15+) provided information on a wide variety of career options to the students. Altogether over 32 companies attended the fair including: WSP, Sellafield, Siemens, Thales, Royal Navy, Co-operative Society and the NHS.
AmcoGiffen, through David were delighted to be able to interact with over 20 parents and students highlighting the many different careers options and further learning opportunities available within an engineering company, including the AmcoGiffen Learning Academy and apprenticeship schemes.
David promoted the role of Quantity Surveying as a professional career and its professional body the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
