AmcoGiffen takes the low road
Working again with our valued customer, Scotland TranServ, we have recently commenced work on a vital resilience project on the A77 trunk road at Carlock, near Stranraer. Our team will undertake a six month programme of embankment strengthening and carriageway reinstatement works including the replacement of safety and environmental barriers.
To ensure the safety of all road users and our people, we will deliver the works under full half lane closure traffic management. Given the nature of our activity this carriageway restriction is unavoidable and we will be working closely with the Scotland TranServ team to ensure that the impacts on road users and the environment are minimised.

And as one AmcoGiffen infrastructure team is mobilising at Carlock another is busy on the M8 White Cart Viaduct in Renfrewshire – completing a further phase of underside access walkways for Scotland TranServ.
