AmcoGiffen's new Training Academy!
Dedicated to bridging the nation’s construction and engineering skills gap and protecting the future of tomorrow’s generation, we’re delighted to announce the upcoming launch of our brand new training academy!
With our teams working diligently behind the scenes for the last few weeks at Barnsley College’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) centre in South Yorkshire, the academy will be for 16 and 17 year old learners and apprentices of any age – from all across the UK!
Providing construction, mechanical and electrical engineering qualifications for all the students, AmcoGiffen will be further incentivising their training by taking on 8 of the apprentices this year, and 16 in the coming years. Embracing our collaboration with Barnsley College, we’re also upskilling members of our current workforce through various courses in maths, English, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. We’re so excited to help protect the future of construction and engineering! Watch this space!
