Certified for Social Value
Being a socially conscious employer as a key contractor is really important to us, and the right thing to do, for many reasons. One of the quickest and easiest ways that we can demonstrate our commitment is through certification with ConstructionOnline.
Constructionline provides us with a straightforward way to showcase our social value credentials to one of the largest networks of construction procurement professionals in the world.
Our certificate shows that we have met the standards for:

Our core objectives closely link to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, they are to support our people, our communities, our environment and our innovation.
Some of the things we’re doing include; our volunteering system, green labour employability programme, engagement calendar, STEM ambassador programmes, signing up to Women in Rail EDI Charter, zero carbon emissions aims, HVO fuel and battery power sites, apprenticeship and graduate programmes, homeless donation banks and action tools, supporting Canal and River Trust and community organisations such as Treharris Football Club: where we’re able to use our expertise directly to give something back.
