Charity Coast To Coast Bike Ride
On Saturday 2nd July, 5 AMCO employees cycled ‘Coast to Coast in a day’ from Morecambe to Whitby, raising over £1,000 for Snydale Riding for the Disabled Association (http://www.snydalerda.com).
The team (Photo on right, made up of from L-R Jonathan Crossland, Bryn Gray, Tim Cox, Anthony Galvin and Ashley Czirok), route totalled nearly 130 miles, passing through the undulating Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors. The weather was very temperamental, and at times torrential rain and strong winds challenged the team. This was soon forgotten on arrival at Whitby into glorious sunshine, where celebratory fish and chips were enjoyed. Many thanks to everyone who contributed their time, effort and hard earned money. Your support was greatly appreciated and ensured this challenge was an outstanding success.
