Delivering Environmental Benefits in Scotland
As part of our Renewals Collaborative Delivery Programme framework in Scotland, AmcoGiffen are pleased to announce the successful design and completion of another structures replacement project for Network Rail.
Delivered within exacting timescales, we replaced a surface water culvert within an embankment on the Ayr to Stranraer Line near Barrhill, providing essential protection to rail assets and delivering wider environmental benefits to the community.
With all track-sensitive works finished during a 29 hour line closure, we finished the project on schedule, keeping passenger disruption to an absolute minimum, and ensuring heightened safety and efficiency of travellers on the Ayr to Stranraer line.
