Double Award Success for AmcoGiffen
It was a double award success for AmcoGiffen last night!
Working closely with Network Rail, Arup & Partners, and Tony Gee and Partners, we won the ‘Project under £3m New Build Award’ at the ICE South West Awards in Bristol!
This complex and collaborative project provided a new flood relief culvert to deliver additional capacity under the existing railway. It successfully improved the flood resilience in and around the junction, providing significant protection for the railway, travellers and the surrounding communities.
Huge well done to everyone involved!
And Congratulations to our Contracts Engineer, Andy Brunton, for achieving finalist status in the Higher/Degree Apprentice of the Year category at the Sheffield City Region Apprenticeship awards last night! Employed with us for over 16 years, Andy has risen through the ranks from an electrical apprentice to his current position, while working towards a BA Hons Professional Practice in Management degree. Displaying continual dedication and drive, we’re delighted to have Andy on our team – well done!
