Grand Christmas Tree Unveiling
Christmas cheer arrives early for Brookhouse Village residents courtesy of our Dave Penny and Tim Wood and their AmcoGiffen team.
AmcoGiffen arrived at the village earlier this month, setting up site ready to undertake steelwork repairs and painting to Brookhouse Viaduct on behalf of Network Rail. The team communicated regularly with the local residents to keep them all informed about the works.
As a gesture of goodwill for any disruption, the AmcoGiffen team not only organised for a Christmas tree in the village for all to enjoy, but also donated £100 towards presents for the children at the grand unveiling.
A helping hand was also willingly given when the village experienced flooding from the local beck due to the high level of rainfall. As luck would have it the AmcoGiffen team were using a road sweeper and willingly organised for the sweeper to clean up the main road of any debris caused.
