Linda Grant Health and Safety Award
As a company dedicated to health and safety, AmcoGiffen are delighted to announce that we have once again been shortlisted for the Linda Grant Health and Safety Award, 2017!
Celebrating innovation, workforce involvement, client participation, low incidence of accidents and exceptional interaction with the public, we have been recognised for our high-quality work on the Denby Dale Viaduct Masonry Repairs project for Network Rail.
We successfully delivered a programme of repair and refurbishment works to the Grade 2 Listed structure while maintaining the operation of the railway and minimising any disruption to multiple stakeholders, including residents, the Environment Agency and the Local Authority. As a result of excellent preparation and delivery, our dedicated team provided fantastic works with zero accidents or incidents, and 17,326 safe hours worked.
We’re looking forward to attending the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) dinner on the 20th of April, where the winners of this incredible award will be announced!
