Mental Health Awareness Week 2019
Since 2001, Mental Health Awareness Week has raised awareness of topics such as stress, sleep, relationships, loneliness, and alcohol. This year the awareness focuses on body image.
30% of all adults have felt so stressed by their body image they have experienced feelings of being unable to cope.
Mental health is everyone’s business and mental health problems can affect anyone. At AmcoGiffen, we have trained Mental Health First Aiders across all areas of the business to provide support within the workplace. We also have 24 hour support via the Westfield Health Employee Assistance Helpline.
Being open and talking about feelings, thoughts and experiences can not only help you, but may provide a life-line to someone else.
