New Allotments Named After Sustainability Effort
AMCO have been undertaking bridge strengthening and painting works at the Overbridge Sykes Lane nr Tollerton, York.
An area of temporary hardstanding stone was required and as part of community collaboration, once complete AMCO donated the stone to the local council to be used in their new allotment car park. Seven new allotments have been created and all gardeners now enjoy good access and parking facilities.
In recognition of the help and AMCO teams efforts the Tollerton Parish Council have named the new allotments the “New Bridge Allotment’ future plans are for a wildlife area and orchard.
