Presenting at the Light Rail Seminar
Attending the joint Permanent Way Institution and UEEIV Light Rail Seminar in Manchester earlier this week, AmcoGiffen’s Contracts Manager, John Billcliffe BEng CEng MIET FPWI, delivered an engaging session on the Sheffield Tram Train Pilot Project.
Utilising his expertise, John spoke about the OLE DC system and the interface of light and heavy rail platforms on Network Rail Infrastructure.
Presenting to circa 200 attendees, alongside Dr Rob Carroll from Sheffield Supertram, John presented the issues and achievements of the design, construction, testing and commissioning of the milestone pilot project!
