Project Milestone at Maxwell Park Station
What a difference three weeks makes!
Following the successful downtaking of the existing overbridge at Springkell, our RCDP Framework team in Scotland have been working in collaboration with our Network Rail colleagues to reach another project milestone at Maxwell Park Station!
Demonstrating our commitment to increasing the resilience of the Scottish rail network, AmcoGiffen successfully completed the parapet installation at Springkell Avenue overbridge last week. Working hard to ensure effective and efficient delivery, our efforts will significantly assist in maximising travel efficiency and safeguarding the running of the busy Cathcart Circle line below.
With our focus moving on to the completion of the concrete deck and reinstatement of the carriageway, the much-used road is due to reopen at the end of August, before being ultimately handed over to Glasgow City Council.
