Reopening Springkell Avenue Overbridge!
Demonstrating our dedication to increasing the resilience and efficiency of the Scottish rail network, AmcoGiffen are delighted to announce the successful re-opening of Springkell Avenue overbridge near Maxwell Park Station in Glasgow - on time as promised!
Following our careful downtaking of the original life-expired and rapidly deteriorating structure, we incorporated reclaimed masonry from the existing structure to clad the inner face of the new concrete parapets to preserve the heritage of the conservation area and provide an aesthetically pleasing bridge in its place.
Collaborating closely with Network Rail, Glasgow City Council and Scotrail, the reconstructed bridge provides a sturdier and more robust structure, ensuring heightened safety for the surrounding community and travelling public.
