Ripley Footbridge Reopens
Not all schemes are huge big bridge installations sometimes it’s the smaller schemes which can have a big impact. Take Riley Footbridge, once the AmcoGiffen team team led by Glen Heaton and Rob Czirok had taken the paint work back to basics, repaired the steelwork, repainted and waterproofed the structure it looks as good as new.
As a safety precaution a canopy was added to prevent trespass or obstructions from being thrown onto the track.
The footbridge is once again open for pedestrian traffic, giving safe passage for the local community, making life a little easier to get around.
