SHEQ Time in Newport
Well done to Philip Price Grad IOSH and Andy Crowley for organising a really useful SHEQ Stand Down day last week in Newport for our 'Works Delivery' team in Wales.
The day was in collaboration with Network Rail led by Chris Howchin and we were kindly supported in terms of venue by our supply chain Partner, Speedy (thanks Rich Barden and the Speedy team at Newport).
The day was a mixture of presentations and workshops covering our SHEQ 24/7 Strategy, Working at Height, Communication, Plant People Interface and HAVS. Some good debates were had and great initiatives shared & progressed. Lawrence Ling SHEQ Director at AmcoGiffen was delighted to be asked along to present and take part so thank you to everyone involved for making it a worthwhile day.
