TfL's Zero Harm Forum
Sitting on the steering group for Transport for London’s 4LM Zero Harm Forum, we were delighted to take part in the latest event in Stratford yesterday.
With sessions covering topics such as complacency on site, safe by design, and workplace wellbeing, AmcoGiffen’s Kristina Standing and Paul Cremins led a workshop on successful planning. Providing delegates with different scenarios, the interactive discussion focussed on how changes to the programme could have been altered to avoid risks and accidental injury.
Guest speakers Don Aers Pasma and Sarah Thorne also delivered fantastic presentations about working from height, and how to mitigate stress in the workplace.
Setting up a health and wellbeing stand in the networking area, we were able to interact with attendees from across multiple companies. What an informative, eye-opening and poignant day - we’re already planning a number of initiatives on the back of the session!
