Weekend Success at Pembroke Road
At 04:30 yesterday morning, the Pembroke Highway was successfully opened to traffic and the local community!
Following a challenging weekend comprising the removal of the 1930s fabricated steel Pembroke Road Underbridge in Haverfordwest, the South Wales main line possession was completed on time, allowing the morning service to start promptly for operatives and passengers.
Reflecting the hard work and effective outcome, Network Rail’s Programme Manager stated, “a great effort was made by all teams, AmcoGiffen, its specialist suppliers Mammoet and the Network Rail IP Wales, Communications, Works Delivery and Operations teams.”
