World Suicide Prevention Day
Promoting worldwide action to prevent suicides, AmcoGiffen are proud to be a part of the World Suicide Awareness Day campaign.
Placing a huge emphasis on the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees - alongside the wider communities that we serve - suicide prevention is a precept that we build into our operations and daily lives.
With suicide reported to be 3 times higher in construction workers, AmcoGiffen are committed to tackling mental health concerns. Providing mental health first aid training to our staff on site and in the office, we aim to ensure a heightened ability to recognise when people around us are struggling.
In aid of World Suicide Awareness day, we will be delivering additional training and awareness sessions this week to reinforce the importance of such a vital topic.
